UPDATE: Due to the Covid-19 Alert Level 2 restrictions, Junior Prizegiving has been cancelled.

It is with a great deal of regret that the Junior Committee has made the decision to cancel our formal prize giving due to the COVID19 Alert Level 2 restrictions. This decision has not been made lightly, and it’s certainly not the way we wanted to end the 2021 season. We hope you and your players have enjoyed being part of the Petone Football Club, and that we see you all back in 2022.

I would like to acknowledge all our volunteers for their tireless effort over the season. Without their support and contribution, the Club couldn’t function, so thank you to the Grade Managers, Coaches, Referees and of course, all the members of the Junior Committee.

A massive shoutout must also go to our players and their support crew and whanau. As well as getting the kids to games and practices to cheer them on, the members of the Junior Club raised over $4,500 from the Big Goal Day fundraiser. This will be used to purchase new Junior football gear for 2022.

Team Certificates and Awards

Coaches from the 7th Grade teams and above will be coordinating the distribution of certificates and awards to their team in October.

Players in our First Kicks teams are asked to keep their Petone shirts until next year. They are welcome to wear them with pride over the summer!
