Women's First Team coach appointed

We are delighted to announce that Curtis Jones has also been appointed coach of the Petone Women's first team for 2017.  Supporting him in this role, as co-managers of the team, are Sarah Kendall and Rachel Corbett.

Curtis joins Petone FC as Women's first team coach in addition to his role as Director of Junior Football.  Over the coming months he will be working closely with the Women's committee to establish development programmes for the junior female players, in line with the Women's Development Strategy.

Since his return from Taupo, Curtis has been involved with the Federation Talent Centre programmes at Capital Football, co-coaching the U14 girls team with Sam Morrissey in the National Age Group Tournament.

Jinece Bakhos, Women's committee chair, says details of preseason training for the women’s teams are still being worked through and will be announced in the New Year, along with coaches for the women's second and third teams.
