Sarah Kendall - League Centurion

22 September 2018   Jeff Bell   Honours

For those that missed it, last night we congratulated another player on making 100 first team league appearances.

Sarah Kendall made her Women's First Team debut in 2004 as a promising young goalkeeper. She played 32 games over the next 3 years before taking the chance to play at a higher level at other clubs.

In 2014, Sarah found her way back to Petone, however no longer a keeper. She made 17 appearances and scored 10 goals in her return to the Blues. Since then she has racked up another 51 appearances and 9 goals.

Sarah made her 100th league appearance in the last game of the 2018 season, a 3-1 win away over Brooklyn Northern Utd.

Sarah becomes just our third Women's Centurion joining Flora Nielsen (174) and Nadine Bowen (142) in a very exclusive club. She has been a hard worker on and off the pitch, a consistent performer, a wonderful leader, and a true Blue. Congratulations Duff, you deserve it.
